How to create a donation system in Adalo?

Step 1: Create a New Adalo Project

Log in to Adalo.
Click on “Create New App”.
Choose if it's a mobile or web app based on your target platform.
Pick a template or start from scratch.

Step 2: Set Up Your Database

Head over to the Database section.
Create a new collection called "Donations".
Add the necessary fields to the "Donations" collection:

Amount (Number)
DonorName (Text)
Email (Text)
Timestamp (Date/Time)

Step 3: Design the Donation Form

Go to the screen where the donation form will be.
Drag and drop a form component onto the screen.
Link the form to the "Donations" collection.
Add fields to the form to match the fields in the "Donations" collection:

Amount: Number input
DonorName: Text input
Email: Text input

Customize the form’s look to fit your app's design.

Step 4: Set Up Payment Processing

Go to the Components Marketplace in Adalo.
Search for and add the Stripe Payments component.
Drag and drop the Stripe Payments component onto the donation form screen.
Configure the Stripe component:

Set up your Stripe account and get the necessary API keys.
Input the API keys into the right fields in Adalo.
Link the payment amount to the Amount field in your form.

Step 5: Configure Actions

Select the Submit Button on your donation form.
Add action > Update Current Donation.
Configure the action to:

Collect and save form data to the "Donations" collection.
Trigger the Stripe payment process.

Set up a notification or success message when a donation is completed.

Step 6: Create a Donation Confirmation Screen

Create a new screen named "Confirmation".
Design the screen to include a thank-you message.
Set up dynamic text fields to show details like:

DonorName

Add a button to navigate users back to the main screen or donation page.
